Hurricane Katrina Flashback. 8-29-2005

After experiencing some bad weather in the Dallas area , my thoughts went back to the flooding in Iowa last year and the flooding in New Orleans ,LA. in 2005. I just wondered if the Government is ready for another big disaster in one of our large cities. Hurricane season will soon be upon us and I hope we will respond quick enough to not repeat history. Then again hope is not a good plan of action. Katrina caused 1836 deaths confirmed, 705 people unaccounted for and to date 90 billion in damages.God help us all.
